Jill MacDonald
Co – Owner & Stylist
Jill has been in the industry since 2009 when she began her career in Toronto. Upon training at the Aveda Academy, she worked as an educator and found a love for sharing her knowledge and teaching others.
Jill moved to Kingston in 2012 and quickly fell in love with this beautiful city that she now calls home. She has since been a mentor, salon manager and independent stylist, constantly keeping up with the latest techniques and trends.
Jill’s attention to detail starts with the consultation process, where she focuses on asking the right questions to narrow down exactly what the guest is looking for, and following through with her expertise in colour and cutting techniques. Although she offers all hair services, she loves colouring, with focus on blondes, balayage and corrective work. She also enjoys doing extensions, bridal styling and going on location for weddings parties.
Outside the salon Jill loves to travel, cook and spend time with friends and family. She looks forward to welcoming you to her chair!
Jessie Michel
Co-Owner & Stylist
Jessie has been in the industry for over a decade. The hairstyling program at St. Lawrence College is what brought her to Kingston in 2008 and quickly brought on a thriving career. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a couple different salons in the Kingston area but always had the dream to open her own business.
Hairstyling has always come naturally to Jessie. Her strengths are creating a seamless balayage, lived in colour and always enhancing her clients’ natural beauty. Whether it be improving a haircut or giving colour recommendations to fit your routine she always makes sure you leave feeling your best.
When Jessie is not in the salon she enjoys spending her time with her husband, son and their two dogs. She also has a love for home design and decor, and is currently working on renovating their forever home on her time off.
Bailey Wall
Independent Stylist
Bailey began her journey in the beauty industry in 2020. She specializes in blondes, balayage and rich brunettes, with a passion for creating beautiful customized looks for every client.
Known for her warm and welcoming approach, Bailey is dedicated to making each appointment a comfortable and enjoyable experience. She enjoys learning and continually invests in advanced education to stay on top of industry trends and techniques.
Outside of the salon Bailey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing on the lake, fishing and snuggling with her two cats.

Avery has nearly three years experience in the beauty industry, and has always had an interest in hair from a young age. From styling her dolls as a child to doing her friends’ hair for prom as a teen, she’s always had a natural joy for transforming hair. For Avery, hair is not just a profession, it’s a true passion. She loves making others feel confident and beautiful.
Avery excels in creating stunning blonde, brunette and soft lived-in colours that enhance each client’s unique beauty.
Outside the salon you can find her enjoying quality time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors through camping trips or taking long walks with her pup.

Mackenzie has been a dedicated professional in the hair industry since 2021, beginning her career as an assistant and quickly developing her skills and artistry after graduating the hair styling program at St. Lawrence College. She has a passion for creating customized colour, specializing in a range of services from natural blondes, rich brunettes, lived in styles and vivid hues.
In additon to her colour expertise Mackenzie has a strong passion for mid to short-length hair cutting, combining precision with creativity to deliver tailored results for each client.
Outside the salon, Mackenzie enjoys spending quality time with her dog, family and friends or unwinding with a good puzzle.
