Jill MacDonald
Co – Owner & Stylist
Jill has been in the industry since 2009 when she began her career in Toronto. Upon training at the Aveda Academy, she worked as an educator and found a love for sharing her knowledge and teaching others.
Jill moved to Kingston in 2012 and quickly fell in love with this beautiful city that she now calls home. She has since been a mentor, salon manager and independent stylist, constantly keeping up with the latest techniques and trends and making a name for herself as one of Kingston’s top hairstylists.
Jill’s attention to detail starts with the consultation process, where she focuses on asking the right questions to narrow down exactly what the guest is looking for, and following through with her expertise in colour and cutting techniques. Although she offers all hair services, she loves colouring, with focus on blondes, balayage and corrective work. She also enjoys bridal styling and going on location for weddings parties on the big day.
Outside the salon Jill loves to travel, cook and spend time with friends and family. She looks forward to welcoming you to her chair!
Jessie Michel
Co-Owner & Stylist
Jessie has been in the industry for over a decade. The hairstyling program at St. Lawrence College is what brought her to Kingston in 2008 and quickly brought on a thriving career. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a couple different salons in the Kingston area but always had the dream to open her own business.
Hairstyling has always come naturally to Jessie. Her strengths are creating a seamless balayage, lived in colour and always enhancing her clients’ natural beauty. Whether it be improving a haircut or giving colour recommendations to fit your routine she always makes sure you leave feeling your best.
When Jessie is not in the salon she enjoys spending her time with her husband, son and their two dogs. She also has a love for home design and decor, and is currently working on renovating their forever home on her time off.
Tabitha Blair
Stylist
Tabitha has been in the hair and beauty industry for almost a decade and has always had a passion for hairstyling, makeup and fashion. She attended St. Lawrence College where she completed the Hairstyling Diploma Program, graduating with distinction, and continues to further her education with Schwarzkopf, Redken and Behind the Chair University courses on a regular basis.
Tabitha’s favourite services to offer in the salon include balayage, blonding, creative colour services and precision cutting. Whether you are seeking lived-in beachy highlights, platinum blonde or a stunning statement colour, she will be sure to impress you with her skills that are not only creative but highly refined.
Tabitha also practices makeup artistry and loves to do bridal, soft glam and natural makeup for events such as photoshoots, weddings and formals.
Outside the salon Tabitha has a passion for nature, animals, veganism, cooking, plants and gardening, yoga, painting and her two chihuahuas.
Logan Nadon
Stylist
Logan graduated from the hairstyling program at St. Lawrence College in 2019 and has been a stand out stylist ever since. With her natural talent and keen eye she shows a great love for all things hair. She brings a fun and fresh energy to the salon and is readily accepting new clientele. Her specialty is colouring, with focus on blonding and creating beautiful coppers. To always stay current with the trends, Logan constantly continues to stay on top of her education which helps to develop and refine her skills.
Outside of the salon she likes to spend time outdoors, travel and hang out with friends and family.
Kathrine Ferguson
Stylist
Kathrine has been in the industry for ten years and has been perfecting her skills since the beginning to make each and every one of her clients feel cared for, feel their best and look even better.
Creating beautiful balayages, blonding services and custom colouring paired with individually curated haircuts and styles is her specialty.
Kathrine has recently moved to Kingston from the Georgian Bay area. While she has over a decade of experience behind the chair, being new to the city she is starting fresh with building a brand new clientele. She is accepting new clients for all services and is looking forward to meeting everyone!
